About the Role
Looking for USCG-licensed captains to guide and lead educational Zodiac tours in a variety of Southeast Alaska wilderness areas while sailing aboard the Ocean Victory from Sitka, AK to Vancouver, BC. The Ocean Victory is part of a brand new generation of energy-efficient vessels, with 4 diesel engines and 2 electro engines, all controlled electronically to optimize speed and fuel consumption. Zodiac captains/guides will work as part of a dynamic expedition team where the focus of each voyage is naturalist interpretation, hands-on science, cultural connections and guest services.
